A NEW SEASON, NEW HORIZONS!
Last year, the COVID-19 and the lack of snow were the big news that captured the attention of our customers. However, many new features were put in place to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Mont Edouard. These developments will take full effect this season in order to offer you more skiing pleasure at the resort.
OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK FROM DECEMBER 18TH TO APRIL 5TH
Since last season, the mountain has opened its doors 7 days a week, adding 17 additional days to our regular season. This novelty will continue this season in order to offer more ski days to our customers.
OBJECTIVE QUALITY ET SECURITY IN OUR BACK COUNTRY
The popularity of high-country skiing requires us to constantly review our methods in order to meet the needs of our users. Our objective is not only to offer the largest secure territory for backcountry skiing in Quebec. This summer, we carried out major silvicultural work in 4 of our 6 sectors to make the terrain even cleaner. The result is not only safer trails, but also less snow to open them earlier in the season!
THE BEST PRICES ALL THE TIME
In order to remain an accessible mountain for our clientele, we have launched in 2020-21 a new formula for online purchase of daily tickets with flexible prices according to periods. This is made possible through our partnership with Liftopia, a world leader in e-commerce solutions for the ski industry.
OUR SKI SCHOOL IS BACK!
After a year's break due to the COVID, our Snow School is back this season closer than ever to serve you. In addition, a new freeride initiation program has been created to allow young and old to develop their confidence on all types of terrain and their enjoyment of the mountain!
NEW SKI SHOP HORS-CIRCUIT
A new sports and outdoor boutique awaits you this season at the resort! The Hors-Circuit Experience Boutique promises to offer a state-of-the-art maintenance shop, a ski and snowboard rental and testing center, as well as a selection of specialized items for snowboarding and backcountry enthusiasts. The store will even offer 5 new electric fatbikes for rent! One visit will convince you!
NEW RFID GATE SYSTEM
Mont Edouard was the first resort in Quebec to implement the automated ticketing system and gates from Team Axess, the world leader in this field. The resort is now equipped with a state-of-the-art infrastructure that allows our regular users to reload their cards online in order to access the lifts without having to go through the ticketing office.
SNOW PARK AND FREERIDE SECTOR
Last season Mont Edouard added a new snow park and an off-piste and freeride area on the front and back of the mountain. The vision behind these new areas is to offer a variety of skiing experiences on the resort accessible from the lifts. In addition, the off-piste sector on the back of the mountain also provides a link to the Haute-Route territory. The result is more terrain, more runs and more powder for everyone!
RENOVATED SPACES ET NEW BISTRO OFFER
We have redesigned our cafeteria space to facilitate circulation and reworked our menus to offer a better dining experience in Covid time. In addition, a new formula of restoration makes its appearance in the bar of the chalet with a choice of beers and alcohol of quality and of Quebec origin. These novelties will add to your stay at the resort.
