Summary

This first sector developed during the fall of 2014 offers an advanced-intermediate level of difficulty with its 200m of vertical drop. 

A 40-minute climb is all it takes to get to the start of the sector. The proximity of the resort and the cellular connection along the way make it the ideal terrain for an introduction to backcountry skiing.

Summary

Located at about 20 minutes of ascent past the Sacré-Coeur sector, this terrain offers a total change of scenery. Here, you will enter the backcountry area of the haute-route. A first hut with a toilet is accessible and is also available for overnight stays.

An advanced-intermediate level is recommended to fully enjoy the glades.

Summary

Located on Mont Laure-Gaudreault, whose summit exceeds that of Mont Edouard, the Grive sector will give you a good dose of adrenaline! This open sector on a northeast slope is for the expert skier and a sought-after destination for haute-route enthusiasts: a 301 m vertical drop, average slopes at 20º with some drops at 40º!

Three new mid-slope exits allow you to ascend faster to enjoy more of the steeper terrain!

The Grive hut is available for an overnight stay.

Summary

15 minutes from the Grive refuge, a 590 m long ascent trail leads to the Grand Pic sector and the refuge at its summit, which is available for rent.

From there, 402 m of vertical drop awaits experienced skiers looking for a thrill. On the 1000 m descent, the efforts of the ascent are largely rewarded with the impressive degree and quantity of snow present!

Summary

This sector offers great runs thanks to its orientation where the snow accumulates! From there, a quick access to either the Grive and the Gardien sectors or back to the Mont Edouard station.

Summary

With 303 meters of vertical drop in a birch glade, the Gardien descents are worth the detour.

To fully enjoy the area and the unique views of the Saguenay Fjord, a fourth refuge is located at the summit.
